Introduction

"AN ORDINARY DAY" is a continuously evolving amateur theater work created by the director Li Siyao. With a unique creative approach and core concerns, it constructs a studio that is constantly flowing and continuously updated. The foundation of the work comes deeply from the co-creation between the director Li Siyao and amateur performers from diverse life backgrounds. What is presented on stage is not of fictional drama, but a collective of fragments from real life, hidden inner monologues, and earnest aspirations for the future. "AN ODINARY DAY" is not only a performance but also an ongoing social experiment by theater. Its most unique vitality lies in its 'uncertainty' and 'continuity.' There are new amateur performers for each staging. Their stories are woven anew into the fabric of the work. Therefore, every staging has an unrepeatable uniqueness, with the stage serving as a flowing container of life, carrying the joys, sorrows, and desires of different lives.
